Pack your bags, Pookie!  It's time for DOG CAMP!

Join us for an amazing weekend of fur, fun, friends and fantastic training, J9'sK9s style, against the beautiful backdrop of Big Bear Lake, CA.

At J9'sK9s Camp Waggin' Tails, you'll find yourself having fun from sunup to sundown, with a full schedule of activities such as Street Smarts and Wilderness Walks outings, picnics in the park, romps in the lake, dog-friendly arts and crafts projects, clever games, evening campfires and of course, time to relax and explore on your own.

Our "Home Base" for Camp Waggin' Tails will be The Timberline Lodge in Big Bear Lake. Timberline offers dog-friendly accommodations in the form of fully-furnished cabins ranging in size from singles to two-bedrooms. All cabins offer phone and cable television service, and kitchen amenities range from coffee pot and mini-fridge to full kitchens. (Hey, just because we're "ruff-ing" it, doesn't mean we have to "rough it" now does it?)

The property features a swimming pool, sand volleyball pit, children's playground and campfire area, and is adjacent to a huge, grassy meadow. We'll be walking distance from Boulder Bay, hiking trails and dog-friendly restaurants, and it's just a short drive to The Village and sections of the lake where the dogs can take a dip.

In honor of J9'sK9s Camp Waggin' Tails, the owners of The Timberline Lodge will offer J9'sK9s campers the discounted price of "weekday" rates for our weekend adventure. The pet fee has also been waived. Each cabin sleeps 2-8 people and rates range from $79-$159 per night. Want to double your fun and save some money at the same time? Make plans to share a cabin with a fellow J9'sK9s camper!

Camp Fees:

J9'sK9s Camp Waggin' Tails tuition is $225 per dog/handler team. A "team" shall consist of one dog and up to two humans from the same family. Participants may bring additional dogs at no charge, so long as all dogs in attendance are pre-approved, have completed the minimum requirement of at least ONE J9'sK9s Advanced class and have been in any upper-level class within six weeks prior to attending camp. Only one dog may attend each scheduled activity. Campers bringing multiple dogs are asked to rotate dogs between activities. Sorry, no exceptions! (Excludes evening campfires. Multiple dogs are welcome so long as the dog-to-handler ratio does not exceed 1:1.) Additional human campers may attend with their team (housed in the same cabin) for $25 per person.  This fee covers included meals and craft activities.

J9'sK9s Camp Waggin' Tails accommodates up to 25 dog/handler teams. The Timberline Lodge will have a maximum of 16 available cabins for our camp weekend. To meet our camper goal, at least a few camper teams will need to be willing to share a cabin. Cabin-sharing is a great way to authenticate your camp experience. It will also help keep individual costs down while makingthe Camp Waggin' Tails experience available to a few more campers! Sharing a cabin is a win-win situation. Talk to your J9'sK9s training buddies and see who might want to have a slumber party! If you're willing to share a cabin, but don't have a specific roommate in mind, please contact Stephanie. If we know of fellow "willing to share" but roommate-less campers, we'll help put you in touch with each other!

CAMP REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS.

A WAITING LIST WILL BE ESTABLISHED IF NECESSARY.
